KAUTEC KAMR, TOWARDS THE FLEXIBLE EXTRUSION PLANT

VARIABLE GEOMETRY QUENCH SYSTEM

The KAMR (Kautec Autonomous Mobile Robot) system transforms
aluminium extrusion plants by replacing traditional, manual transport
methods with an autonomous, flexible, and safe solution.

This mobile robot, capable of carrying up to 3,000 kg, navigates
autonomously using LIDAR technology, eliminating the need for fixed
infrastructure and reducing accidents and operational errors.

Its implementation optimizes routes, enhances efficiency, productivity,
and safety, while also generating significant cost savings and improving
process traceability within the plant.

Advanced “Variable Geometry” cooling technology for high-quality
aluminium profiles:

  • Activate/Disable nozzles
  • Direct nozzles to profile
  • Water flow regulation

  • Traditional gas furnace with the possibility to work with NG or LPG.

  • temperature before the exit of the furnace.

  • Traditional gas billet furnace used for the first part of the process.
  • Permanent Magnets Heater to perform an accurate tapering of the billet before
    the extrusion.
